X-RAY SCREENING AND REVIEW
Proper patient and endodontic tooth selection are the most critical aspects of passing the exam. Each year candidates are unsuccessful on the board because of improper patient selection. Western Dental Consultants will have an x-ray machine at the course all week so you will be able to take x-rays of your endo teeth and potential patients. We will be available to review the x-rays with you.
SELF STUDY - Periodontal Assessment / Prosthodontics
The review consists of SELF STUDY* review manuals containing hundreds of sample test questions similar to what you will find on the exam. We have also created a reference library for the Periodontal and Prosthodontics which includes a comprehensive review of fixed prosthetics treatment for complete dentures, removable partial dentures & implants.
These review manuals are ONLY available during the week of the course.
EQUIPMENT / SUPPLIES / MODELS
A list of suggested equipment and supplies required for this course and the exam will be sent to you from Western Dental Consultants after we have received your pre-registration. The practice portion of the course will be on ivorine teeth, mounted in your typodont.
*Each WDC student will be issued a manikin articulating arm and table clamp. These manikin simulators will allow you to practice prepping in the anatomically correct position.
